The grill sports a handsome, enclosed black cart with easy-to-clean stainless steel doors. A stainless steel lid insert and a stainless steel tube lid handle further simplify cleaning and ensure cleaner, safer victuals. The Affinity 4200 also has a 10,000 Btu flush-mounted side burner with a stainless steel lid.
The unit comes with a handy lid thermometer means no more flipping the lid to check progress. And, cast aluminum end caps trap heat in for tender steaks, kabobs, portabellas and more. The cooking system, rated at 48,000 BTUs, includes 3 stainless steel burners and an electronic ignition for ultra-easy starts. Cooking grates are made of 1/4-inch-diameter stainless steel wire and won't warp at extended high cooking temperatures for years of use. Go ahead and load up this grill with plenty of fare for large gatherings. The primary cooking area measures 526 square inches, and a warming rack area measures 167 square inches for a total cooking area of 693 square inches.
Other features include a stainless steel stamped warming rack, porcelain-enameled heat distribution plates, textured painted right and left hand side tables, and a stainless steel control panel.
