The unit comes with a handy lid thermometer means no more flipping the lid to check progress. And, cast aluminum end caps trap heat in for tender steaks, kabobs, portabellas and more. This grill works great even in windy conditions. It cooks food evenly without hot spots and retains heat very well. The rotisserie leaves meat tender and juicy. If you judge a grill on how well it cooks, then this is a great grill. You could spend a lot more and not get a better grill. Watch out, the side tray can get hot during cooking and I would recommend getting the cover to keep it clean and looking nice.
