Our tiller features the reliable, easy starting Honda GX engine. This 4-cycle engine requires no messy mixing of gas and oil. This engine has up to 70% less emissions than similar 2-cycle engines. The Honda engine has very little vibration, runs extremely quietly, and is a proven workhorse.
This new Patriot weighs only 25 lbs. Making it very easy to operate for gardeners of all ages and sizes. Why pull those weeds when you can till them? Clear a 10 inch path or easily remove the outside tines and now you can get in between narrow 6 inch rows. The handle folds down making it convenient to transport and store. It will easily fit in the trunk of your car.
We are so sure of this product's quality that we back it with a 2-year warranty for residential users and a 1-year warranty for commercial users. 3-year warranty on transmission for residential users.

Yes, it's all true: it starts easily, runs quietly, minimum vibration, no need to mix gas and oil, all those things are true, but it has an Achilles heel: the transmission! After not too much use, the tines stopped spinning. I took it to a repair shop. The transmission was shot. Parts alone are $130 plus labor - 50% of the original cost. What does one do? Apparently this is not an uncommon problem based on online research. There is no worthwhile alternative, however, so I either have to rent or repair. Not sure yet which I'll do.
