This is a beautiful fountain. However, before you order, you need to consider the following: 1. Birds love this fountain and frolic and bathe in it, leaving behind bird gook, which can make the water dirty and clog the pump. Plan to dump it every single day to refill with clean water or the bird poo will clog the pump. I would put pantyhose over the bottom part of the top section (you'll know what I mean if you get one) and that should delay to necessity to dump the dirty water daily. 2. Solar does not mean it works on a sunny day! You will not be able to place this anywhere you want....the solar panel must be 100% in direct view of the sun. Early morning, the panel is beneath the top edge and that is enough to prevent the sun from hitting it 100% so it does not work until around noon when the sun is highest in the sky. Any obstruction - small cloud or bird landing - between the solar panel and the sun will cause the fountain pump to stop immediately. 3. The instruction booklet and online pictures are very poorly done and difficult to understand. My first solar panel did not work right and the info was not helpful and the three emails to the manufacturer were not answered. However, amazon came to the rescue in lightening speed and took care of getting a replacement to me in two days! In any case, take your time setting it up and give it two days to get up to speed. Finally, enjoy your time outdoors and happy gardening to everyone!
