Robomow RM400 is an automatic lawnmower that cuts the grass all by itself. It comes with a base station and it will depart at the pre-set scheduled days and times. At the end of each operation Robomow returns to the base station for charging until the next scheduled operation. Your lawn will be maintained even when you are away from home. The RM400 is the new generation of Robomow to be introduced for 2008. It is designed to handle lawns with total mowed area of up to 4500 square feet ¿ to be handled over a three days period of three consecutive mowing sessions. The RM400 includes a docking system and station for true automation. Simply set a weekly program for the days and times you want the lawn mowed and the RM400 will do it automatically for you, day after day and week after week. Truly the most efficient way to keep your lawn maintained. This unit is also equipped with a rain sensor. The rain sensor will prevent the RM400 from coming out of its docking station and mowing if it is raining. Also, if it starts raining when the unit is mowing, the RM400 will return to the docking station. The RM400 is light enough to be lifted and carried. However, a remote control is offered as an accessory, which allows driving between the plots and manual mowing for small, non wired areas. A perimeter switch is offered as an accessory as well, for activating non docking areas.
