Robomow RM200 is an automatic lawnmower that cuts the grass all by itself. All you have to do is take it to the lawn and press the GO button. The RM200 is the new generation of Robomow to be introduced for 2008. It is designed to handle lawns with total mowed area of up to 3000 square feet ¿ to be handled over a three days period of consecutive mowing sessions. The RM200 includes a perimeter switch activating the area to be mowed automatically. The RM200 is charged in the garage or the shed whenever it is not in use. Simply unplug from the charger, carry and place on the lawn, activate the perimeter switch and press GO ¿ the RM200 will automatically mow the lawn edge by tracking the perimeter wire and then the inside of the area between the perimeter wires. This unit is also equipped with a rain sensor. If it starts raining when the unit is mowing, the RM200 will stop in its tracks, turn off the blade and go to a sleep mode. Mowing in the rain is not recommended for various reasons, mainly the lawn health and the fact wet mulched grass clippings tend to be very sticky and accumulate at the mulching deck, eventually slowing the blade and taking from the mulching capability. The RM200 is light enough to be lifted and carried. However, a remote control is offered as an accessory, which allows driving between the plots and manual mowing for small, non wired areas. Extra perimeter switches for secondary plots are offered as an accessory as well.
