Product Description
This combo deal comes complete with two pre-drilled stands ready for mounting brackets, one dual outlets type 7-day digital timer to trigger both feeders at same time, two stainless steel bowls (a must for cats) and all other harware needed to assemble along with instructions. As an added bonus, this package deal includes two installed chute covers to make the feeders totally intrusion-proof. NOTE: with the chute cover, you should not use food larger than 3/8" thick by 1/2" long. Some larger food may work fine, but the best thing to do is to test it first. If food is a bit too large, you can remove the covers or choose a smaller food type. The feeder requires some assembly only using a small and medium size Phillips-head screwdriver. Each feeder holds 4 3/4 cups of dry food (a bit over a quart) and could be expended later with our optional 1.5 gallon hopper. Like all other Super Feeders, this feeder will feed from very small portions to large portions as many times as the remote timer has on-off cycles (up to 8 per day with this timer). You can save money by purchasing this double feeder combo package deal instead of two separate ones. Note: Although the feeder will not feed during a power outage, the digital timer will keep time and programs while power is off. and normal feed cycles will resume when power is restored. No need to re-program the timer when disconnected from power or feeder. For the feeder not to feed, the power would have to be off at the very minute the feeder is scheduled to feed. Several feed cycles per day are recommended. We do not recommend battery power.
