This is a nutritious diet designed to meet all the established nutrient requirements of canaries and finches. It is an extruded diet, which means that it is more thoroughly cooked than a traditional pelleted food. The premium ingredients are cooked to increase digestibility thus allowing more nutrients to be utilized by your bird. Each nugget is made from the same formula, but may have a different flavoring. Green is melon, orange is orange, yellow is banana, red is apple, and if there are purple nuggets, they will be grape.It is readily eaten by even the most finicky birds, controlled iron content (less than 80 ppm) may be good for species predisposed to iron-storage disease, more cost efficient than feeding seeds and more nutritionally balanced, promoting better health.Great for canaries, finches and other small softbill birds.
