I really love birding and looked for a decorative birdhouse that had all of the recommendations from the National Audubon Society. This house has a nice clean out in the back, proper sloping of the roof to allow for water run-off, and no perch that would allow larger birds to rob the nest. It is also just gorgeous. The face of the house is made of carved resin but you'd never know it....it looks just like wood. The details are beautiful. This birdhouse really invokes a "wood spirit" type look and I love it!
